❗️Wild January Weather! Tornadoes down south near Oklahoma City at 8 AM with widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms sweeping northward across Kansas City. There is a marginal chance of a couple severe thunderstorms later this afternoon for the Kansas City area, with damaging wind gusts the main risk. I’m not concerned about the potential for a brief tornado due to some limiting factors that will be present, but I’ll continue to monitor this threat throughout the day. | Nick Bender KMBC
