The Texas Longhorns will look to complete a series sweep over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Game 2 of the WCWS Thursday night.

On Wednesday night in Oklahoma City, Texas Tech superstar pitcher NiJaree Canady gave up what turned out to be the game-winning hit in Game 1 of the Women's College World Series finals on a botched attempt at an intentional walk of Texas catcher Reese Atwood.

NiJaree Canady scattered six hits and pitched her way out of a seventh-inning jam, and Texas Tech forced a decisive third game in the Women’s College World Series with a 4-3 victory over Texas on Thursday night.
