Walmart’s July Fourth hours in 2025 are expected to follow the retailer’s regular schedule. Most Walmart stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., giving shoppers plenty of time to make a stop before heading to parades, cookouts, or fireworks.

According to a Walmart spokesperson, “Unless otherwise required by state or local regulations, all Walmart stores will be open regular hours on July 4. Most stores hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time.” That means a majority of Walmart stores will be open during normal business hours on Independence Day this year.

Heading to Walmart on Friday? Good news, the doors will be open. That's because Walmart is open for business on the Fourth of July. That means you'll be able to shop in-store or place orders through third-party shoppers like Instacart.
