Tottenham Hotspur will build a statue of Ange Postecoglou if he guides them to the UEFA Europa League this season, believes Tim Sherwood. The Greek-Australian boss, who arrived in north London at the start of last term, will bid to seal progression to the quarter-finals against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.

AZ are in the hunt for third place in the Eredivisie, with head coach Maarten Martens doing well in his first season in charge as they beat Galatasaray in the knockout round. Spurs academy product Troy Parrott is coming up against his boyhood club and has popped up with some big goals this season for AZ.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for visitors of late, with Ange's side winning just four of their last 14 home games across all competitions, two of those coming against Manchester United and one against Elfsborg.
