California, Arizona and Colorado, along with 17 other states, sued the Trump administration this week over its decision to close the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program.

FEMA announced in April that it was ending the funding to eliminate “waste, fraud and abuse.” The program saved taxpayers more than $150 billion over 20 years, the plaintiffs said.
