The city of Nashville announced back in 2023 that instead of upgrading the current home of the Tennessee Titans, which sits on the east bank of the Cumberland River, the city and Titans would be building a new $2.1 billion domed stadium, which will sit directly adjacent to the current stadium.

Nashville police have launched an investigation after a noose was found at the Tennessee Titans ’ new football stadium, halting construction. The noose was found within the “last couple of days” at the new Nissan Stadium, which is currently under construction, a Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson told The Independent.

The Tennessee Titans waived 2023 seventh-round pick Colton Dowell and signed wide receiver Matt Landers, the team announced on July 25. Dowell, a Lebanon native, played in 10 games in 2023, tore his ACL in December 2023 and spent last season on the physically unable to perform list.
