A Susquehanna County man killed a neighbor and ambushed two responding Pa. state troopers, seriously injuring both, before other officers shot him dead on Thursday, authorities say.

News has an update on the two Pennsylvania State troopers who were ambushed Thursday by a gunman in Susquehanna County. Troopers William Jenkins and Joseph Perechinsky were each shot twice while responding to a deadly shooting in Thompson Township.

Officials say the gunman, Carmine Faino, 61, shot and killed neighbor Lori Wasko, 57, in front of her home. He then opened fire on state troopers Joseph Perechinsky and William Jenkins III, who responded to the scene shortly before 11:30a.
