Cole Escola took home the 2025 Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play for the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in "Oh, Mary!"

Escola is the first openly nonbinary actor in Tonys history to win, and did it by playing a sauced, screeching, entirely historically inaccurate Mary Todd Lincoln, no less.
