Brigham Young quarterback Jake Retzlaff has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his home, according to a civil lawsuit filed in Utah.

BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff was accused battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress in a recent civil lawsuit filed by an unidentified female in Salt Lake County, Utah, according to the The Salt Lake Tribune.

Retzlaff transferred to BYU in 2023, and he led the program last season as its starting quarterback. The 21-year-old threw for 2,947 yards with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while leading the Cougars to an 11-2 record.
