Eight others were injured. Gordon Turner, 22, fled from Newark police Tuesday afternoon in a stolen U-Haul van, police said.

She's the only fatality. Turner, who was also injured in the crash, was one of two people returning to a stolen U-Haul van that was parked in a lot in the 200 block of E. Main St.

Gordon Turner, 22, is accused of striking and killing the people while driving an overdue U-Haul truck. Police at the scene in Newark, Del., on Tuesday.
