Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy has been named the Original Six club's nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy.

BOSTON – The National Hockey League announced today, April 15, the 32 nominees for the 2024-25 King Clancy Memorial Trophy, with Charlie McAvoy as the Bruins' nominee.

While the Bruins won’t be playing hockey beyond Tuesday, one of their players still might take home some hardware.

This year’s tournament will begin May 9 in Denmark, then move to Sweden (Stockholm) for the later rounds, including the championship game (May 25).
