A Marginal Risk (level 1/5) has been issued for central Alabama for Saturday. A few storms could develop early in the morning on Saturday. It will not be a washout of a day. In fact, during the day Saturday, the majority will see a good mix of sun and clouds.

Things get a bit more interesting on Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center outlines an enhanced risk for severe weather in northwest Alabama on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. A slight risk stretches across the I-20/59 corridor.

Following Tuesday’s storms, the NWS will be surveying storm damage across North Alabama. They plan to conduct surveys in Colbert, Jackson, Lawrence, Limestone, and Madison counties.
