Maxwell was moved from Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee to Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Bryan after speaking with the Department of Justice about late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Federal Prison Camp Bryan typically houses nonviolent offenders and is less restrictive than the Tallahassee federal prison.

Maxwell's move from FCI Tallahassee, a low-security prison, to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, comes a week after she met with Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, who said he wanted to speak with her about anyone else who may have been involved in Epstein's crimes.

While most inmates can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months to move prisons permanently, convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell was moved quickly from Florida to a minimum security prison in Texas a week after her meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
