Trailing late in a Men’s College World Series game causes a mix of emotions, but for Louisville, they've thrived in it. And with their season on the line, they have more confidence than ever.

The 2025 College World Series continued on Sunday, featuring two important clashes in Bracket 1. In the first matchup, Louisville eliminated Arizona from the tournament with an impressive 8-3 victory in Omaha. No. 13 Coastal Carolina defeated No. 8 Oregon State 6-2 to remain in the winner's bracket.

Arizona starter Smith Bailey held that 3-1 lead until the seventh inning, when Louisville led off with a Garret Pike double and bunt single from Neighbors. Bailey was relieved by Garrett Hicks, who allowed a sacrifice fly by Lucas Moore.
