The 2025 College World Series continued on Sunday, featuring two important clashes in Bracket 1. In the first matchup, Louisville eliminated Arizona from the tournament with an impressive 8-3 victory in Omaha. No. 13 Coastal Carolina defeated No. 8 Oregon State 6-2 to remain in the winner's bracket.
Arizona starter Smith Bailey held that 3-1 lead until the seventh inning, when Louisville led off with a Garret Pike double and bunt single from Neighbors. Bailey was relieved by Garrett Hicks, who allowed a sacrifice fly by Lucas Moore.
