A former DACA recipient who received a green card under the Biden administration has been charged in connection with an anti-ICE attack in Alvarado, Texas.
AUSTIN, Texas (KAUZ) - The Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List now features Benjamin Song. At Governor Greg Abbott’s order, Texas Crime Stoppers is also offering a $10,000 reward for Song. The FBI is also offering $25,000 for information that leads to Song’s arrest and conviction.
A Blue Alert was issued on Wednesday for a man accused of shooting an Alvarado police officer during an attack at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility on July 4, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the FBI.
Two officers and one Border Patrol employee were injured, including one shot in the knee, a federal spokesperson told USA TODAY. The gunman died.

The officer was shot in the neck on Friday, the night of the Fourth of July , after reporting to the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) southwest of Dallas. He was treated at a hospital and released, the Johnson County Sheriff’s office said.
