The VE Day 80 flypast will see the Red Arrows and a host of stunning World War Two era planes zip past Buckingham Palace in a several-hundred-mile arc starting from RAD Waddington

Sir Winston Churchill’s victory speech, a military procession, a flypast and street parties are part of the build-up to 8 May

On Thursday commemorations will be marked by a thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey and V E Day 80: A Celebration to Remember, an evening concert at Horse Guards Parade. Expected to draw over 10,000 attendees, the concert will feature stars such as Samantha Barks, Fleur East and John Newman.
