On Monday, ESPN’s Shams Charania provided an important update. Paul George underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee, which he injured during a recent workout. The surgery is considered minor, and George is expected to begin rehab immediately.

The team announced that Paul George “underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee” Monday to “treat an injury sustained during a recent workout.” George’s procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan L. Glashow, who also did Joel Embiid’s arthroscopic left knee surgery in April.
