Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and 24 of her counterparts abroad have signed a joint statement saying "the war in Gaza must end now," while calling on Israel to stop displacing Palestinians.
Twenty-five countries including Britain, Japan and a host of European nations issued a joint statement on Monday saying the war in Gaza “must end now” — the latest sign of allies' sharpening language as Israel's isolation deepens.
The statement said it is ‘horrifying’ that more than 800 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid. Israel’s foreign ministry said it rejects the joint statement
The group of nations has also called for a probe into Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid distribution after the death of more than 800 Palestinians.
Mr Lammy and his counterparts from 24 other countries, including France, Australia and Canada, along with the European Union’s commissioner for equality, urged the Israeli government to “ immediately lift restrictions on the flow of aid”.
