Nintendo Switch 2 will come with a new GameShare feature that allows you to share your games with other players even if they don't own it.
If one person has a Nintendo Switch 2 system and a game compatible with GameShare, that person can invite others to temporarily play the same game together via local play with their Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch system,
The new GameChat feature allows players to voice and video call together (with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Camera) and is free to use with any Switch 2 console through March 2026. A Switch Online membership is required to use the feature after its free period expires.
GameShare marks another new Nintendo Switch 2 feature that allows more players to play with friends and sample games they may not own.
