Police in Denver responded in full force to marches downtown after an earlier peaceful protest at the Colorado State Capitol.

The Denver Police Department deployed officers with riot shields and smoke to disperse a group of ICE protesters on Saturday evening.

A group marched to the ICE facility in Aurora on Monday in solidarity with protestors in Los Angeles. Another rally is expected to happen today at the state capitol in Denver.

At one point, protesters in the area of Broadway and Exposition Avenue were ordered to leave by the Denver Police Department.
