One of the stars of animated sensation KPop Demon Hunters says the movie's success "feels like a dream". The film, about a fictional girl band who live a double life defending humanity from a supernatural threat, has become Netflix's most-watched animated film ever since its release in June.

Netflix's KPop Demon Huntersmay be one of the best movies of 2025, and predictably, may be given the sequel treatment. Per The Wrap (via Polygon), Netflix is planning to flesh out the KPop Demon Hunters Cinematic Universe and create their own franchise.
