Elon Musk suggested any potential investment by Tesla Inc. in his artificial intelligence startup, xAI, should be proposed by the electric carmaker’s shareholders.

Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) is one of the growth stocks that could double by 2027. On July 14, Elon Musk confirmed he is opposed to any merger involving the electric vehicle giant and artificial intelligence company xAI.

Elon Musk on Monday said he does not support a merger between xAI and Tesla. On X, Musk suggested that Tesla plans to ask shareholders whether Tesla should invest in xAI, however. Musk owns X, xAI and Tesla and is contemplating the future business relationship between them all.
