Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders have still yet to reach an agreement on a long-term deal to keep the star wide receiver with the franchise beyond this season. And with their contract talks struggling to get over the finish line,

The 29-year-old wideout, who’s entering the final season of a three-year deal he signed in 2022, requested a trade on July 31 after both sides couldn’t agree on a contract extension.

Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is at the point where he knows nothing is going to get better, for the offense itself, without McLaurin on the field.
