The Oscars are moving from Hollywood's Dolby Theatre to the L.A. Live complex starting in 2029, when the YouTube global deal kicks in.

Hollywood’s biggest night is heading across town. The Oscars will relocate from the Dolby Theatre to the Peacock Theater starting in 2029 and continuing through 2039. The first year at the new location will coincide with the telecast’s move to YouTube after a decades-long run on ABC.
