You could read whole history books about the impact of Windows 1.0 on the last 35 years of computing, but I think a more fun way to celebrate Windows' birthday is to use it.

While 1.0 might have been an unimpressive dud, some iteration of Windows is now running on over 90% of all computers. So in spite of Nathaniel Borenstein, happy birthday little guy.
