The Salt Lake City Police Department has released new details following a fatal shooting during the “No Kings” demonstration in downtown
Salt Lake City police are investigating two self-described "peacekeepers" after a fatal protest shooting left one dead and one injured.

The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred during a “No Kings” protest Saturday night, leaving one person with critical injuries. An estimated 10,000 people were marching at the time.
Detectives believe the victim was at the demonstration as a bystander and “was not the intended target of the gunfire.”
