The Polish government warned on Monday that it will no longer be able to pay for the Starlink satellite-internet system for Ukraine after the new president unexpectedly vetoed legislation to extend aid for Ukrainians living in the country.

Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Chancellery of Polish President Karol Navrocki, has denied claims that the president’s veto of an amendment to the law on aid for Ukrainians would result in Starlink being shut down in Ukraine.
