MOSCOW/KYIV — Both Russia and Ukraine have signaled openness toward peace over the weekend, as fighting shows no signs of easing on the battleground.

Moscow authorities temporarily closed the capital’s airports following a Ukrainian drone attack carried out over the weekend. Official sources reported that at least 140 flights were canceled and more than 130 flights were redirected as a result of the attacks.
