A slow-moving storm system could dampen outdoor plans this weekend and into Memorial Day, especially across the South.

The Thursday nor’easter will move up into eastern Maine and eventually Canada on Friday. As we start the long Memorial Day weekend, the dwindling storm system will still be a bit of a factor in our weather, just relinquishing its grip as time moves along.
