It's the end of an era for San Francisco's dining scene along The Embarcadero as the iconic Fog City has permanently closed after 40 years on Battery Street.

But few if any detect signs that San Francisco’s summer chill is going away like the once-celebrated Fog City Diner, which shut down at the end of May.
