CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — John Gibson stopped 29 shots to lead the Anaheim Ducks over the Calgary Flames 4-0 on Wednesday night. Gibson earned his fourth shutout of the season and 16th of his career.

Ducks F Nick Ritchie completed his two-game suspension for punching Chicago's Michael Rozsival last week. The power forward will be eligible to make his NHL playoff debut in Game 2.

The Flames have allowed the Ducks to creep within seven points by losing their past two games, most recently a 3-1 defeat against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday to open a three-game homestand.
