Brazil's top trading partner is China, followed by the U.S. To note, the U.S. had a $7.4B trade surplus with Brazil in 2024. According to industry group Cecafé, Brazil exported nearly 7.5M 60-kilogram bags of coffee to the U.S. in the 2024/25 crop year, accounting for 16.4% of Brazil's total coffee exports.

China has approved 183 new Brazilian coffee companies to export products to the Chinese market, according to a social media post of the Chinese embassy in Brazil on Saturday.
