Alan Dershowitz said Thursday evening that two federal judges in New York are keeping key court records surrounding the disgraced and deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein under seal to "protect certain people" named in litigation related to his sex trafficking operation.
Instead, the longtime Harvard professor lobbied for Epstein confidant Ghislaine Maxwell to be granted immunity in exchange for testifying in front of a congressional committee.
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Dershowitz responded to recent moves by the Justice Department, including Attorney General Pam Bondi’s request that a federal judge unseal grand jury transcripts. While he supported the unsealing, he warned that the material may not contain the revelations many of Donald Trump’s supporters are hoping for.
