Another studio prepares to throw their hat in the ring, eyeing a new Wizard of Oz project in the wake of the success of the prequel musical Wicked.

Warner Bros. Animation will unveil upcoming series “ Get Jiro ” and “ Bat-Fam ” at France’s Annecy Intl. Animation Film Festival during its Behind-the-Scenes panels.

It follows the forthcoming animated movie musical Bad Fairies, which hits theaters in July of 2027. Next up from Warner Bros. Pictures Animation is The Cat in the Hat, set for release early next year.

While these projects come to fruition, Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will be hard at work with the Hit Squad and their upcoming adventures.

Will Forte, John Cena and Lana Condor star in the film, a live-action, CG animation hybrid, alongside classic Looney Toons character Wile E. Coyote. Warner Bros. had no comment one way or the other.
