The original link to the Rivian Camp Kitchen now redirects to the Gear Shop homepage. The R1S tent is still listed as "coming soon" on the website, although the R1T tent was removed two months ago.

The Tent package includes the Cargo Crossbars and a Yakima Skyrise HD Medium Rooftop Tent. Just like the Camp Kitchen, it also needs a redesign, supposedly to allow attaching of the tail light.

On the other hand, the tent on the Rivian is basically a standard roof-top tent from Yakima that simply fits the R1T seamlessly. It’s not exactly cheap at about $2,800.

Yakima's similar model, without the Rivian branding, costs $2,499. Other Rivian drivers online also appear to have outfitted their vehicles with rooftop tents that sell for well under $2,000.

The tent has been created in partnership with iKamper and includes a self-inflating mattress. Rivian also offers a $2,800 two-person tent and a $1,400 Travel Kitchen for adventurous owners.

While the Rivian R2 will have some changes from concept car to production car, one key feature will make the leap into reality.
