CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Zack Meisel of The Athletic is reporting that the Cleveland Guardians are promoting highly-touted prospect C.J. Kayfus to the Major League roster on Saturday. Kayfus, who plays first-base and in the outfield, is rated as Cleveland’s No. 4 overall prospect according to MLB.com.

The Guardians added right-hander Carlos Hernández to the roster and selected the contract of first baseman/outfielder C.J. Kayfus from Triple-A Columbus before Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins.
