Maxwell was moved from Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee to Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Bryan after speaking with the Department of Justice about late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Federal Prison Camp Bryan typically houses nonviolent offenders and is less restrictive than the Tallahassee federal prison.

Maxwell's move from FCI Tallahassee, a low-security prison, to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, comes a week after she met with Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, who said he wanted to speak with her about anyone else who may have been involved in Epstein's crimes.

The longtime Epstein associate, now serving a 20-year sentence, was relocated from a federal prison in Florida about a week after being interviewed by a Justice Department official.
