Possibly tired of battling with President Donald Trump, mega-billionaire Elon Musk is turning to smaller targets. Instead of taking on the most powerful man in the world, he's tackling one of the world's largest companies and one of its best-known artificial intelligence pioneers.

Elon Musk-owned xAI on Monday sued tech giants Apple and OpenAI over an alleged scheme to illegally dominate the artificial intelligence industry through a collaboration that equipped iPhones with AI tools.

Mr. Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, claimed that its Grok chatbot app was being artificially suppressed in Apple’s App Store.
