Hyper-V in Windows 10 has a built-in tool called Quick Create that lets you automate the process of setting up new virtual machines. Here's how to use it.

To convert a virtual machine from VMware to Hyper-V, go to the VMs and Services workspace and select one of your VMware hosts. Next, click on the Create Virtual Machine icon found on the toolbar.

Whenever you create a virtual machine, Hyper-V generates a unique ID to represent the virtual machine, called an identifier. When you export a virtual machine, it carries that identifier.
