Taylor Fritz has recovered from a mid-match lull during which he was treated by a trainer for a foot problem and reached the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time with a 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (4) victory over Karen Khachanov.

The American survived 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4) to make the final four at the world’s most important tennis tournament for the first time.

It's a tall order to say the least, but Fritz has a chance to be the first American man to make the Wimbledon final since 2009.
