Dino Fire initially started today at 2:58 p.m. in Santa Clara County. After being active for two hours, it has burned 150 acres, an increase of 100 acres since the last update. A fire crew of 105 succeeded in containing 10% of the fire as of Wednesday evening. The cause of it is still under investigation.

Cal Fire crews responded to a fire near the San Luis Reservoir in Santa Clara County that began around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The fire had grown to 200 acres around 5:40 p.m., and Cal Fire said they had achieved 45% containment.

The Dino Fire in Santa Clara County has grown to 200 acres and is 45% contained on Wednesday evening, Cal Fire officials say. The fire is at eastbound Highway 152 at Dinosaur Point Road and the Pacheco Pass.
