The Village of Oswego is considering safety enhancements as the community mourns Wednesday's deadly car crash into a local Portillo's.

More than a dozen people were hurt and a 2-year-old boy is dead after a car crashed into a Portillo’s restaurant in west suburban Oswego on Wednesday afternoon.

Eight people were taken to nearby hospitals. The extent of their injuries weren't known, but at least one person was in critical condition.
