Maybe Paddy Pimblett and Renato Moicano will still fight some day, but if it happens, it won't be for a while. Heading into UFC 314, No. 10 Moicano was still ahead of No. 12 Pimblett in the official lightweight rankings.

Pimblett secured a third-round TKO after splitting open the former three-time Bellator champion with a vicious knee, leaving Chandler to slump out of the Octagon before Bruce Buffer even had time to raise the Briton’s arm. With that, Chandler succumbed to his fifth loss in seven UFC bouts.

Pimblett took on Chandler in the co-main event of Saturday's stacked UFC 314 main card in Miami, Florida. The Brit had a lot of momentum behind him, with victories in his first six Octagon appearances. However, he was widely expected to have some difficulty with Chandler, a former Bellator champ and the UFC's No. 7-ranked lightweight contender.
