HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT) — Protestors filled Butler Green Park near Campus 805 in Huntsville for a ‘No Kings’ protest Saturday. The protest was part of the ‘No Kings’ protests that took place nationwide. Despite rainy conditions, large crowds gathered to make their voices heard.

The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.

So far, the cities of Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Guntersville, Jacksonville, Auburn, Dadeville, Selma, and Dothan have scheduled June 14 protests in Alabama.

On Saturday, hundreds of protests will happen across the country, including right here in the Tennessee Valley, voicing their concerns about President Donald Trump.
