American flags — some inverted — waved beside Palestinian and Mexican flags as thousands protested the Trump administration Saturday at a park on Albuquerque's West Side.

Protests happened across New Mexico as people express their disagreements with policies being enacted by President Donald Trump. A local lawmaker and opposing political party reacted to the demonstrations happening in their area and around the state.
