A planned solar canopy at Stoney Lakeside Park has been put on hold after the EPA pulled its funding for the federal grant program that supported the installation.

Michigan's Solar for All program, meant to support renewable energy resources for low-income residents, has lost its federal funding.

After the Trump administration said it's ending the $7 billion Solar For All program, the state was consulting the AG "to determine our next steps.”
