The Los Angeles Lakers clinched the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs with a 140-109 victory over the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers blew out a very short-handed Rockets team, and in doing so, they wrapped up the third seed in the Western Conference.

The Houston Rockets have already secured the second seed in the Western Conference ahead of the NBA Playoffs, but several teams are still looking to lock themselves in as high as possible. One of those being the Los Angeles Lakers.

Houston has been enjoying life the past few days, while the Lakers had the emotional return of Luka Doncic to Dallas on Wednesday. He went off, as expected.

The Los Angeles Lakers closed out their regular season by securing the third seed in the Western Conference with a win over the Houston Rockets. With that goal accomplished, the team chose to rest most of their key players in Sunday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
