Kelvin Harrison Jr. ( O’Dessa) has found his next big project in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, Deadline has confirmed. He’ll take on the role of Beetee, champion of the 34th Hunger Games and father of Ampert Latier, Tribute in the 50th Hunger Games.

Kelvin Harrison, Jr., who voiced Taka, AKA Scar, in Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, has joined the ever-growing cast of Lionsgate’s latest installment of The Hunger Games franchise, the adaptation of the latest Suzanne Collins bestseller, Sunrise of the Reaping.

Sunrise on the Reaping with Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Mufasa: The Lion King) set to portray Hunger Game victors Wiress and Beetee. Released in March by Suzanne Collins, Sunrise on the Reaping takes fans back to the 50th anniversary of the Hunger Games,
