New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. left Tuesday night's game against Baltimore in the top of the first inning with right flank discomfort. Chisholm appeared to have hurt something while he was batting.

The Yankees have to hope that Chisholm is right about his body. An oblique strain is rarely a short-term injury. Generally, any issue with it will linger with a hitter until they are shut down from swinging for a sustained period.
