According to leaks, the Air's battery is just 2.49 mm thick and would have a capacity below 3,000 mAh. The last iPhones to have such low-capacity batteries were the iPhone 12 and 13.

The images of the supposed battery were posted by South Korean tipster yeux1122, and show it alongside another, thicker battery cell which the leaker says is from the iPhone 17 Pro. The post also claims the iPhone Air battery is 2.
